POCO X4 GT launching on June 23 alongside POCO F4 5G: See details

Smartphone maker POCO had recently confirmed that its upcoming POCO F4 5G smartphone is ready for launch on June 23 and now the brand has announced that it will be launching another device called the POCO X4 GT. The event is scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM (12PM UTC) India time and will be livestreamed on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

Expected Specifications of POCO X4 GT

The POCO X4 GT is expected to be a modified version of the Redmi Note 11T Pro that was recently launched in China. In terms of specifications, the smartphone is expected to sport a 6.6-inch FHD+ 120Hz refresh rate IPS LCD panel. It is being said that it will come with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection for the display. Under the hood, the POCO X4 GT may come with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

In terms of optics, the POCO X4 GT is expected to pack a 20MP front camera and a triple rear camera setup of 64MP + 8MP + 2MP.

On the software front, the POCO X4 GT is tipped to boot Android 12-based MIUI 13 skin out of the box. Furthermore, the POCO X4 GT is tipped to sport a 5,080mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port.

Poco F4 5G Expected Specifications

According to a report by RouteMyGalaxy, the upcoming Poco smartphone is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K40S smartphone that was recently launched in China. The phone comes with 6.67-inch 120Hz E4 Full HD+ AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels, Qualcomm Snapdragon 970 chipset, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage space, 4,500mAh battery life with support for 67W. Fast charging technology, Android 12-based MIUI 13, 48+8+2MP rear camera setup and 20MP selfie camera.

It was launched in China at a starting price of 1,999 Yuan (approximately Rs 23,307). The tipster also shared live images of the upcoming smartphone that show a lot of resemblance to the Redmi K40S smartphone.

The expected price of this smartphone has not been revealed yet. However, its predecessor, the Poco F3 GT was launched in India last year at a starting price of Rs 26,999. Key highlights of the smartphone include a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, 64MP triple rear cameras, and a 5,065mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging technology.
