The virtual human gets an advanced face-rigging technology that the company claims conveys pupil movement, fine facial muscles, and wrinkles. It provides a natural joint movement throughout the body. Additionally, deep learning techniques such as advanced voice synthesis have been used to help create AI-powered voices for Ana.
“ANA is a hyper-realistic virtual human created by Crafton’s unique technology. We expect it to attract Gen Z interest and popularity around the world,” said Josh Seokjin Shin, Head of Creative Center at Crafton “ANA will release an original music track and expand its scope of activity as an influencer in various fields of entertainment and esports,” he added.
Virtual humans are becoming increasingly popular on social media platforms, including apps like Instagram. These virtual influencers are created for a variety of reasons. Some Virtual Influencers have a following of up to 6 million on Instagram. These virtual humans give creators more control over the content. Ana cannot be launched as a Virtual Influencer, but will be designed to interact with real humans.
